HMD Global fell off the top 10 list of smartphone vendors in Q1 2019. As Counterpoint revealed to NokiaMob, HMD ranked No. 13 in smartphones, but was the largest feature phone OEM ahead of Jio and iTel in the quarter.

"Because we don’t have the final numbers, we can’t say definitively how bad compared to the same period last year HMD performance was, but we can remember that in Q1 2018 HMD Global shipped 4 million smartphones, while in quarter before the last one (Q4 2018), the company shipped 4.6 million smartphones."
