My point is, an OS is a huge undertaking that takes money and time to fully develop. If China wanted to create their own OS, they would be better off building on an existing, well tested base, much as what Google did with Android. Thry did not start from absolute scratch. They took the Linux kernel and built a system on top of it.
It is an old saying, but is still a relevant one: don’t reinvent the wheel. You will waste time and brain power to invent something someone has already done better before."

Szóval nem olyan egyszerű, mint amilyennek látszik, de a muszáj ugye nagy úr.
Egyébként kormányzati alkalmazás tipikusan irodai munkát jelent, na arra tényleg bőven sok valamilyen régi Intel processzor teljesítményét hozó bármi, amin elfut a Linux, és azon a saját alkalmazásuk.

Ez így van, viszont ez a pillanatnyi helyzetet tükrözi. Van elég sok pénzük, százmilliónál több mérnökük, (közülük nagyon sok Amerikában és Tajvanon, "fontos cégeknél"), kiemelt kormányprogram a hátrány ledolgozására, szóval az amerikai nyomás visszaüthet, hogy pár éven belül teljesen önellátóak lesznek, és akkor már nem marad több ász az amerikaiak kezében - míg a nyugati világ függőségét Kínától valószínűleg nem sikerül addig megszüntetni.
